Amandla! media hopes to provide a safe space for critical discussion and debate over the issues of the day. One of the ways in which we endeavour to do this is through hosting Amandla! forums, book launches, seminars and screenings.

Amandla hosts a series of regular forums at the Alternative Information and Development Centre (AIDC) in Cape Town. These forums include public debates, book launches and panel discussions, and are apart of the Amandla’s commitment to broadening the public debate and facilitating critical dialogue.

Some of our recent forums have included a book launch of the book Students Must Rise discussion between student activists, trade unionists, community based organisations and academics on the current student movement

The next event takes place 19 April 2017 at 18:00 at Cape Town High School Hall
